| The paper and presentations are an excellent way to encourage students to learn about current issues in the world. However, if I had a choice I would never talk in public, but becuase its such a small class I don't mind it so much. | Writing and presenting are skills that we really don't give much attention to. After college, taking tests will rarely happen while writing and presenting will. I understand about talking in public, but for most jobs, you will have to do it and so why not learn here. |

| I cannot yet comment on the presentations, though I am a little nervous about being videotaped. As for the paper, I actually enjoyed writing it. I found it a little hard to find current information (I checked out 8 books from the library, ended up using none of them), but I guess there was enough out on the web. Overall, I like the topic I did, and I think I learned a lot through researching, writing, and even just talking to friends about my topic. | MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. You talked to your friends about your topic. I seriously doubt that you ever talked about economics or a test question. Music to my ears! |
