What would you like to tell the professor?
The class was a success however, feedback on how we are performing in the class considering there are no tests or big evaluation of the students. Maybe a web page with our grades on them? MY BAD on feedback. I dropped the ball on that account.
It is a good course Thanks.
Thanks for the great semester Professor Parks!
That I really enjoyed his class this semester; thank him for helping me with my computer problems and always being available, I was very impressed with how much he knew about computers and want to thank him for bestowing a bit of that knowledge onto me Yeah, but I should have taught you economics. Econ 110 is for the computer stuff really.
You were a good lecturer and amusing at the same time. Your jokes kept classes informal, which helped me learn better. Try to be more organized and prepared for class and put things on the syllabas that you think we are going to be able to complete. Again computer problems (and questions about computers) took an enourmous amount of time that was unplanned. The syllabus was THE plan. Sorry if I got behind on that.
I really would have liked some of the exercises back a little earlier. I could not fill out most of the grading section on this evaluation because I really do not have a clue how you grade yet, which makes me a little scared. Although your policy of encouraging learning and not being concerned with grades makes the class more relaxed, I still would have liked a general idea of how I was doing. Other than grading issues, I think the class was run well. It was nice to have all of the information we needed online since the beginning of the year, so we did not have to worry about buying expensive textbooks or holding on to a million handouts. Again MY BAD and it is inexcusable for a professor not to give feedback to increase learning.
Continue his way of teaching hmmmm
NA
Please try to be clear as to grading, expectations, and assignments. Having work due on either one day or the next is great during the semester, but afterwards people regret it, because no one knows the grading policies. See above BUT remember that on the first day I said I cared less about grades and really only cared about learning.
I liked the idea of the class. Seems like something needs to be changed though. Maybe some computer knowledge pre-requisites? Yes, maybe Econ 110 but then the class can not be a 'freshman' seminar.
Great job and don't worry about the course not going EXACTLY as you planned...it still worked out because your students learned. Great if that is so.
Thank you for all your help with economics and mostly with computing tools. I feel far superior to when I started with many computer programs and ready to hit the job world, I hope.
